PMC Ltd Acquires Automated SEM

Process Mineralogical Consulting Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of new equipment to further expand our services to the mining industry.  PMC will be able to provide automated gold searches to enhance the gold deportment studies already offered.  A Tescan Vega III will be installed in our Vancouver laboratory in June equipped with an Oxford Silicon Drift Detector and INCA software to enable mineral searches and identification.

In addition to gold searching PMC will install image analysis capabilities on the unit that will allow for size by size mineral liberation analysis of many of the base metals.  This will also offer our clients with an affordable alternative to size by size mineral liberation analysis currently offered by commercial laboratories.
